In the blog of the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN), the management team Kinect for Windows convey that they have developed the Kinect Xbox 360 this by optimizing a specific hardware and firmware adjustment fully worked better on the PC.

Kinect for Windows will also be enhanced with the Software Development Kit (SDK) specifically designed to Kinect for Windows and various things that are specific to use Kinect on PC.

Kinect was originally created as an input device "motion-sensing" for game consoles made by Microsoft. But in its development, Many groups successfully using this device to many things, even used in the operating room. The number of modifications by various groups, which revealed the ability of more than Kinect encourage Microsoft to develop Kinect become more widespread. Therefore, they released the non-commercial SDK for Kinect to their network developers. At a later stage, Microsoft is developing Kinect for Windows specialized for use in PCs.
