Twitter has acquired Whisper Systems as Mobile Security Startup

The products provided by Whisper Systems, such as RedPhone, which provides encryption services call for Android phones, will soon break up. But for another month ahead, Flashback that provides backup encryption for Android, stay online.
Whisper Systems Company may not provide WhisperMonitor as the software firewall, and security services TextSecure as a substitute for text messaging.
Whisper Systems also offers WishperCore as overall phone security systems, although it is still only available for the Nexus device. As reported by Wired, Twitter interested to acquires Whisper Systems because of advance technology on security systems that their owned.
In their blog post, Whisper Systems said "We started Whisper Systems with the goal of improving security and privacy for mobile devices". They add "We were attracted to this not only because we saw it as an opportunity to reinvent the security solutions that never really worked in the PC environment to begin with, but also because the stakes are much higher—due to the nature of mobile devices themselves—and we didn't like the way that things were looking".
"Now that we're joining Twitter, we're looking forward to bringing our technology and our expertise into Twitter's products and services," their continued. But they did not give details about this in detail.
Note that, Twitter has acquired Julpan that provides startup social media analytics data. In addition, Twitter also has acquired TweetDeck and corporate social analytics Backtype.
