HTC G1 got a gift for being the first mobile which get update of Android Ice Cream Sandwich (Android ICS). XDA has been applied in Android 4.0 to HTC G1 mobile.

But unfortunately, if you use Android ICS update on the HTC G1, which is the first Android Open Source Project (AOSP), you will experience some of the features that are not functioning. Some of these features include WiFi, Bluetooth, screen rotation, and the display becomes less attractive.
