Lenovo ThinkPad X130e is designed especially for students. Lenovo's latest laptop is able to survive on "violence" in school activities. ThinkPad X130e is equipped with a rubber coating to reduce the impact on the edge of the laptop body. The design is claimed able to reduce damage by 33%. In addition, there is a plastic layer on the LED panel is almost 1.2 mm thick to protect screen monitors from foreign objects that might fell on the monitor.
Lenovo ThinkPad X130e has a screen measuring 11.6-inch widescreen, 1.29-inches of thickness, and weighs 3.9 pounds. ThinkPad X130e will work with Intel Core i3-2367M, AMD Fusion E-450 APU or E-300 APU. This laptop has 2 GB of RAM (upgrade up to 8 GB), 320 GB or 500 GB hard drive.
Lenovo ThinkPad X130e is equipped with three USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 for connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet, VGA and HDMI video outputs, plus 4-in-1 card reader (SD / SDHC / SDXC / MMC). ThinkPad X130e has battery life up to 8.5 hours.
Lenovo ThinkPad X130e is scheduled to be released on 20 December with the official base price $469.
